The Rosedale Restaurant is an intimate dining room on the 1st floor of our harbour front hotel. We aim to offer fresh, seasonal produce with an emphasis on local seafood. With views over Portree Bay we hope to serve you a memorable meal from start to finish

Breakfast is available to hotel guests only.

Dinner is open to non-residents and can be booked directly by following the above link. Booking is highly advised during peak season in Skye!

Please note: Dinner is not included in your room rate. All dinner reservations are made on a first come first serve basis, we do not prioritze hotel guests.

Creamy seafood broth with salmon, cod, hake, new potatoes, leek and spring onion. Served with bread


Panko Beef Cheeks **

Slow cooked in red wine, pulled and set in rich red wine jus. Served with celeriac remoulade

A haggis stack with a whiskey peppercorn sauce


Mushrooms on Toast (V, Ve) * **

Skye - Foraged wild mushrooms and duxelles on sourdough bread with parmesan crisps and pea shoots


Pan Seared Scallops *

Black pudding, asparagus, samphire, parsnip crisps and brown butter


Roast Beetroot & Goats Cheese Salad *

Rocket salad topped with pine nuts, honey and balsamic




Venison Burger

Locally sourced venison with black pudding, tomato relish, whisky mustard mayonnaise, baby gem lettuce, tomato and cheese on a brioche bun. Served with fries (add truffle + £2)


Fish and Chips

Atlantic cod tail battered in a 'Skye Gold' beer batter. Served with a chunky tartare sauce, pea purée and grilled lemon


Red Pepper Gnocchi (V)

Gnocchi in a roasted red pepper, tomato, spinach and sweet potato sauce


Hake Risotto *

Fillet of Hake on top of as mushroom, parmesan and truffle risotto – Veggie Optional

Chilli, garlic, spring onion and leek linguine with mussels, prawns and scallops
